This is our story and we are sticking to it!
Back in 2011, our family went to a cousin’s wedding out of town, and saw our first photo booth at an event. It was entertaining and fun and laughter filled the air! Such excitement! There was a steady line to the photo booth, filled with people wearing silly hats, glasses, and boas, some holding up moustaches on sticks, all smiling. My dad, who is normally a quiet, reserved type of gentleman; you know… he’s a grandfather, an observer of people and life, was suddenly transformed!
He loved the photo booth. He dressed up both his granddaughters and took pictures with them. He took his sisters, his wife (our mom), and my sister and I. He kept showing off his photo strips and laughing and talking about how much fun it was, and we all agreed. It was a really memorable, fun time. And…. Smile In Style Photobooth was born from that day. We brainstormed, designed, and developed our business from the ground up, all of us together.
We are family owned and each of us continue to have a part to play in the business (and YES, dad is an instrumental part)! He inspired us to do something wonderful and beyond anything else, the photo booth experience continues to be MEMORABLE FUN for us and for guests of all ages.
Kim wears many hats- customer service, booth scheduling, event planning, talent director, stage manager, equipment coordinator, marketing manager, purveyor of social media…you name it, she does it! Above all, Kim makes sure every event is fun and full of smiles!
Niki is a top notch graphic designer and has a great business mind. She is fun-loving and strives to make sure each photo booth event runs seamlessly and creates lot of smiles. She can do it all!
Top Jobs: Equipment Manager, Chief of Set Up/Tear Down, Booth Delivery King! Doug has an ear for listening to the team’s latest photo booth news and ideas, and he’s great at offering his ideas and opinions!
Kelly is our top Event Coordinator and part of our marketing team too! As a Booth Attendant, she is serious about keeping guests smiling and laughing, so they get the most from their photo booth experience. Kelly helps with many corporate events and has a good eye for spotting social media opportunities.
Amber is our Social Media Guru and best prop organizer. At events, she has great crowd control utilizing her gym hips and soccer mom arm. Amber loves posting about us on social media and keeps things light and fun!
She sews backdrops, works on props, and likes to tell stories about how much fun it is to work photo booth events! She’s always ready with a smile and she loves to see people, especially kids, having fun in one of our photo booths!
He consults with the team on booth design and
builds booth hardware, and he’s our go-to guy for computer tech support. Most important, Dottie and Earl
are the original inspiration for creating Smile In Style Photobooth!
